Searching for Jesse M Turner, Married Priscilla (don't know maiden name) Jesse was born in North Carolina, then moved to Georgia about 1830. He lived in Newton County, Georgia, in 1830, 1840, 1850, 1860, and 1870, He wasn't in the 1880 Census, So I guess he died between 1870 and 1880.

Robert B. (Bob Woody) Turner, B; 1882 abt., believe he was born out of wedlock, his mother was a Turner(believe), don't know his roots, as 1890 census was destroyed? He married Cordelia (Delia) Stone in Lumpkin Co.Ga., my grandparents, moved to Mascot Tenn.,early 1900's,had 11 kids, moved to Harlan Co. Ken., he was a miner. 1930's Delia moved with most of her kids to Longview Tx. Bob is our brickwall, 1920 is last census find him, believe he died 1940, WV or V.? Thanks Linda

I know she had several siblings as follows: Alma born in 1896, Charles Edward born in 1897, Otis born in 1899, (Grandma)MaryAnn Elizabeth born in 1901, Nancy Ann born in 1903, William George born in 1911, and Walter Nathaniel born in 1913. I do believe their parents names were George Edwin Turner and Genora Hennigan. I do have some other information, but not much.

Hello, all!
My name is Lucy Bucan. I'm from Baku, Azerbaijan, former USSR, since 1992 I live in USA, state Michigan. My friend from Baku and former coworker Mark Tzabkewich now live in Israel and he is looking for missing part of his family in America and I'd like to help him.
Here is story: His fathers the oldest sister Manja(Marija?) Tzabkewich(b.1997-1998) left town name Astrakhan, Russia for America sometime between 1913-1915. In America she got married (married name is unknown) and has two sons Valvel and Sheul. Valvel married to Ester and they have a daughter Kerry Linda. Sheul married Betty and they have a son Gary. Both sons of Manja(Marija) were drafted and were in US army for WW2. During the war time Jewish organization of San Diego did support Manjas family in Baku, mother of Manja was Rakhel and father was Abram. The last letter from Manja to Baku was from San Diego on 1948, and connection was broke afterward.
I went online to check a passenger list of arrivals to Ellis Island Port, but was unsuccessful. I 've had an idea to write a letter to all of you with hope the members of your community can remember the names or the faces from the picture I'm attaching.
