Thomas Rannals was born 22 January 1853 to unknown parents. He was left at 18 months with John and Eliza (Campbell) Waddle who fostered him. His biological parents left him and went to Iowa by wagon with James Waddle....John, Eliza and Thomas moved to Jackson County, Iowa by 1860, as they were in the census. According to his obit, he was born in Niles, Trumbull Co., Ohio and according to his death record at the court house, he was born in Pittsburg, Allegheny Co., Pa. He married Adelia Anna "ANNIE" BARKLEY of Jackson Co., Iowa, the daughter of Henry BARKLEY and second wife, Elizabeth M. Simon.

I was wondering if you could help me trace my family tree. My great,great, grandfather was Santo Rea b.1858? he married Dominica b. 1862? , they came from Arpino, Italy. They had 5 children, Carlos, Frosinone,Angelina, Philomena & Katherine. Philomena was my great grandmother. She married charles fredrick shucksmith b.1911 d.1980. lived in Navenby, lincs. there children were:-ron,linda,adrian,joesephine,jenny,rene,beryl,lenard,rita,dennis,kenneth,charles shucksmith, kethleen (aka babs) & chritine(aka Tet) Rea. My grandmother was katheleen she married john blackbird & had 5 children. there son John was my father. Iva Rea married to surname Corns, not sure of given name, could be Joseph or Wm. Lived in Ohio. Had two children, Thomas Leslie, who used nickname Les during his lifetime, and a daughter, Marie - who had red hair. Marie married a man with red hair whose last name was Wood or Woods. She died in Ohio. Thos. worked in vaudeville as a roller skater under the name of The Crystal Duo, first with a partner named Millie (last name not known) and then with his wife, Mary Pratt.
