LANE, [--?--]
Country:
State: Germany?
Date Submitted: January 3, 2004
Notes:
Here's a challenging puzzle I've been trying to solve.
I am looking for the natural father for a Needa Lane. I have found Needa spelled (Neta, Nita, Neeta, Needia). Needa was married to a Joseph Pool on Oct 9, 1920. She had 15 children.
Needa is listed on the 1910 Logan County, Short Mountain Township as Neeta Lane, the step daughther of Charlie Williams. She is the daughter of Adeline, though I also don't know Adeline's maiden name. She is listed on the 1920 Logan County, Titsworth Township as Needia Williams (her last name is actually Lane).
I've heard through family stories that Adeline married a German with a surname of Lane, don't know his given name. The marriage didn't last very long, but long enough to have a daughter, which they named Needa.
If anyone could provide any assistence with finding Needa's natural father or Adeline's maiden name, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks, Jim
